The Vi Peel

Everyone wants to have younger-looking skin whose sun damage has been erased to a degree. But aggressive chemical peels can involve long, uncomfortable recovery periods. But now, thanks to the Vi Peel, the results of a moderate peel can be achieved without the pain and discomfort normally associated with them.

What is it?

The Vi Peel is a pharmaceutical-grade chemical peel that is formulated to address the signs of aging and other common skin damage problems. In a Vi Peel, three peeling agents are blended: trichloracetic acid (TCA), glycolic acid, and lactic acid.

How is a Vi Peel done?

Vi PeelAs with all chemical peels, the Vi Peel involves a chemical solution being spread evenly across your skin. The entire procedure only takes around 20 minutes. The chemical reacts with the skin and creates micro damage spots that cause the skin to blister and peel off. This removes the top layers of the skin and allows new tissue to grow more easily.

So what’s different about a Vi Peel then?

The Vi Peel is different from other chemical peels for the simple reason that it contains an anesthetic. This is provided to lower the discomfort felt by patients during a typical moderate chemical peel.

The process

After you receive the Vi Peel, you’ll undergo a seven-day transformation. Light skin flaking will occur during the first week, and is usually complete after three or four days. Skin regeneration immediately follows, which will improve your skin texture

Who can have a Vi Peel?

The Vi Peel was originally created by Dr. Kalil of the Vitality Institute to help his daughter get rid of her acne. It also can soften the appearance of lines and wrinkles, reduce enlarged pores, and reduce unwanted freckles and melasma. The Vi Peel can be used with all skin types, but people with a darker complexion run a higher risk for hyperpigmentation.

If you have a history of skin rashes and allergies, a Vi Peel probably isn’t the right procedure for you.
