What is the Vi Peel?
The Vitality Institute is behind the Vi Peel, which is a gentle, yet powerful, medical-grade chemical peel. The secret to the Vi Peel is the formulation. The Vi Peel is a blend of trichloroacetic acid (TCA), tretinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol, vitamin C, and other minerals. The formula works together to safely remove the damaged layers of the skin, promote cellular turnover, and refine the surface layer for smoother, clearer, firmer skin that has a radiance.
Who can have a Vi Peel?
Ideal candidates for the Vi Peel with Dr. Hetzler are those with fair to medium skin color and are looking to improve mild to moderate skin damage, heal acne, and reverse the signs of early aging. For people with darker skin tones, the Vi Peel isn’t a good idea, as it may cause hyperpigmentation.

How does the Vi Peel work?
During the Vi Peel, your skin is cleansed, and then the solution is evenly applied in two phases: one to penetrate the skin cells on the epidermis, the second to penetrate more deeply into the dermis. The solution dries quickly, and you can then return to work or other activities, but the solution needs to stay on your face for five hours before you remove it.
After the peel
After your Vi Peel, your skin will have a seven-day transformation. Light flaking will occur during the first week but is usually finished after three or four days. Skin regeneration follows, which rebuilds the epidermis, giving you a smoother, more even complexion and fewer pigmentation spots.
