Dr. Peter Hetzler

Peter T. Hetzler, MD, has distinguished himself as a top surgeon throughout his many years in practice. Certified by the American Board of Surgery in 1989, the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1991, and made Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1992, Dr. Hetzler has published a number of articles on plastic surgery and given many presentations to conferences of peers.

He has been called a Top Cosmetic Doctor; and a Top Doctor in New Jersey by New Jersey Life Magazine and New Jersey Monthly Magazine .

Dr. Hetzler received his Bachelor of Science with distinction and honors from Stanford University in 1976, his MD from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1981. He then completed his formal training in General Surgery (1981-1986) and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (1986-1988) at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Hetzler continued his comprehensive trainng in Plastic Surgery by completing an Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in 1989. He retains hospital privileges at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, NJ Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, and NJ the Shrewsbury Surgery Center in Shrewsbury, NJ.

He was certified by the American Board of Surgery in 1989 and the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1991
